
The celebration of College of Teacher Education (CTE) Week 2025, themed “A Day Full of Knowledge: Unlocking Potential, Unleashing Success in the Year of Transcendence,” took place on February 26-27, 2025. The two-day event, which took place at the SSC Gymnasium and CTE Building, was filled with inspiring events, exciting competitions, and joyful celebrations.
The College President, Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, and the dean of the College of Teacher Education, Asso. Prof. Marivel T. Sarabi, Ed.D, delivered an inspiring message before the contests began, setting a positive and motivating tone for the event. Divided into four teams: Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, the competitions, which included group dance, quiz bowl, debate, extemporaneous speech, declamation, oration, pagkukwento, dagliang talumpati, story telling, speech choir, essay writing, slogan and poster making, and Adhan and Quran reading, were highly competitive and showcased the talents and skills of the students.
The event was a great success, demonstrating the college’s commitment to nurturing student potential, fostering success, and creating an atmosphere of academic excellence, community spirit, and shared celebration. The program closed with a beautiful culmination, expressing gratitude to the students, faculty, staff, board of judges, and the supportive college president, Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE
