
Sulu State College successfully conducted the Strategic Planning 2025 – Final Output Presentation on January 29, 2025, bringing together college officials to refine strategies for institutional growth. Led by Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, the workshop focused on planning, strategizing, and goal setting to strengthen the college’s initiatives. Adding depth to the discussions, Mr. Emmanuel R. De Guia, Senate Committee on Sustainable Development Goals, Innovation, and Futures Thinking, shared valuable insights on future-oriented planning.
Meanwhile, the program featured key messages from Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, Mr. Kaizar Sakiran, Mr. Noel De Guia, and Dr. Rupert S. Sangalang, setting the stage for the presentation of final outputs.
Furthermore, the participants highlighted key areas of development in Administration & Governance, Academics, and Research & Community Service, followed by an engaging open forum. These discussions align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), as SSC continues to enhance institutional policies and programs that foster quality education and sustainable development.
The event also reinforced Strategic Initiative 1 (Institutional Development and Governance), Strategic Initiative 2 (Academic Excellence and Quality Assurance), and Strategic Initiative 5 (Research, Innovation, and Community Engagement), demonstrating college’s commitment to a forward-thinking.
As the event came to a close, Prof. Nelson U. Julhamid, Ph.D., delivered the closing remarks, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in achieving institutional goals.
