
Sulu State College conducted a Seminar on Legal Matters in the Workplace with the theme “Empowering Employees Through Legal Knowledge” held at the Sulu State College Center for Culture and Arts on October 27, 2025.
The program officially opened with an inspiring message delivered by Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, SUC President. This was followed by the introduction of the guest speaker by Ms. Sherryl Kathleen S. Muddasil.
The highlight of the event was the lecture proper presented by Atty. James Lee Cundangan, Assistant Solicitor General, who discussed key legal issues and employee rights in the workplace. An open forum followed, allowing participants to raise questions and share insights.
The event concluded with a closing message from Mr. Kaisar A. Sakiran, Acting Chief Administrative Officer of Sulu State College. The program was hosted by Mr. Riadzmie A. Tan, who served as the Master of Ceremony.
The seminar aimed to enhance employees awareness and understanding of workplace laws, reinforcing Sulu State College’s commitment to employee empowerment and continuous learning.
