
The Sulu State University – School of Nursing solemnly held its 7th Cap, Badge, and Candlelight Ceremony for Batch “FERONIA GIASONE 2028” – The Wandering Healers, a remarkable milestone symbolizing the students’ dedication to the noble vocation of nursing.
We are deeply privileged to have welcomed our Guest Speaker, Dr. Milabel E. Ho, Executive Director of AACCUP, Chair— Technical Panel for Nursing, and President of ASEAN Quality Assurance Network whose message of wisdom and inspiration illuminated the significance of excellence, compassion, and service in the nursing profession. Dr. Ho’s remarkable presence and message reminded everyone of the vital role that nursing plays in uplifting communities and shaping the future of healthcare.
Our profound appreciation likewise goes to the SSU Administrative and Academic councils for their presence and support in this momentous event.
A heartfelt tribute is given to Assoc. Prof. Alijandrina Tan Jalilul, RN, MAN, EdD, Dean of the School of Nursing—the true pillar of the School of Nursing. Through her steadfast leadership, commitment, and vision, she continues to strengthen the foundation of the school and nurture future nurses who embody competence, compassion, and service.
