Sulu State College proudly joins the Sulu Provincial Government in commemorating the 635th Year of Local Governance and Public Administration through BANGSA SUG DAY 2025, carrying the theme:“Bangsa Sug: Rooted in Identity, Rising with Unity.”

Happening on September 16–18, 2025, this historic celebration pays tribute to our rich cultural heritage and the enduring spirit of unity that binds us as one Bangsa Sug. Together, let us stand in pride, rooted in identity, and rise with solidarity for a stronger Sulu.

 MEMORANDUM NOTICE
In line with this celebration, and pursuant to Provincial Ordinance No. 01, Series of 1993, the Provincial Government of Sulu has officially declared:
September 18, 2025 (Thursday) – Public Holiday for the entire Province of Sulu.
September 16–17, 2025 – also declared Public Holidays to allow the people to fully witness and participate in the celebration of Bangsa Sug Day.

Sulu State College invites everyone to take part in this meaningful commemoration a legacy of service, identity, and unity.
