
The School of Agriculture of Sulu State College kicked off its Aggie Week 2025 under the themeSustaining Agriculture, Empowering Communities in the Year of Transcendence on May 14, 2025.
The celebration began with a Color Blast and Fun-Run, starting from the School of Agriculture, passing through Umangay, and ending at the Imbetheya Beach. The opening program was led by SGC Governor Mr. Aldan Ajiron, followed by a special intermission number by selected agriculture students.
Engr. Ajan S. Ajijul, the guest speaker, delivered a well-received speech and was awarded a Plaque of Appreciation by the school.
Engr. Firash Zhed S. Ututalum, Dean of Student Affairs, shared an inspiring message, emphasizing the importance of stability and sustainability in agriculture.
Ms. Malikha J. Ilupa, Dean of the School of Agriculture, reminded all students in their campus to celebrate Aggie Week 2025 as one united family.
