
SSC Officially Opens 43rd Founding Anniversary Celebration with Inspiring Ceremony
Following the lively parade, Sulu State College held its Opening Ceremony for the 43rd Founding Anniversary on April 12, 2025, highlighting a celebration of legacy, leadership, and continued excellence.
The program was graced by Atty. Marco Cicero F. Domingo, Director III of CHED Regional Office IX, who served as the Guest Speaker. In his keynote address, Atty. Domingo commended the institution’s achievements and resilience over the past four decades, and encouraged the academic community to continue striving for innovation and quality education.
Carrying the theme “Transcendence of Stalwarts: A Legacy of Excellence,” this year’s celebration honors the remarkable contributions of individuals who helped shape the college’s legacy, while empowering the new generation to carry that torch forward.
The opening ceremony also featured messages from college officials, special intermission numbers, and the official declaration of the week-long celebration’s commencement.
As Sulu State College marks its 43rd year, the institution continues to stand strong as a beacon of hope, transformation, and excellence in the region.
