
The Lapalan Two-Day Debate Workshop officially concluded with a short yet meaningful closing program, marking the end of a successful and enriching event aimed at enhancing the students’ skills in argumentation, critical thinking, and public speaking.
During the closing ceremony, a Token and Plaque were awarded to the workshop’s resource speaker, Prof. Alkene Fermo, in appreciation of his invaluable contribution and dedication in sharing his expertise in the field of Debate. The awards were personally handed by Engr. Firash Zhed Ututalum, Dean of Student Affairs and Services, and Ms. Fhadzra Aisha Sabdani, the Acting Guidance Counselor.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Prof. Fermo for generously imparting his knowledge and equipping our students with essential debate skills that they can carry forward in their academic and professional endeavors.
Special thanks are also due to the administration, led by College President Prof. Charisma Ututalum, for the unwavering support and for providing this significant opportunity to the students through Lapalan.
