Sulu State College Prepares for Bachelor of Public Health Program
Sulu State College recently conducted a meeting to prepare for the launch of its upcoming Bachelor of Public Health program. The session was presided over by the college president, Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE.
Key insights were shared by esteemed guests from CHED and the University of the Philippines (UP), including Dr. Lilian A. De Las Llagas, former CHED Commissioner and resource speaker, Asst. Prof. Buenalyn Teresita M. Ramos-Mortel, Chair of the Department of Health Promotion and Education at UP Diliman, and Asst. Prof. Myra S. Mistica from the Department of Parasitology at UP Manilaโs College of Public Health.
The meeting was attended by college officials, including Prof. Nelson U. Julhamid, along with deans and faculty members from various departments. The collaboration aims to ensure a strong foundation for the upcoming program, aligning it with national standards and best practices in public health education.
