The Sulu State College Scholarship Office has successfully facilitated the disbursement of scholarship allowances to a total of 910 grantees under the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) Batches 13 & 13.1, Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) Batch 3, and the Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund โ€“ Grant-in-Aid in Higher Education Program (ACEF-GIAHEP) on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the SSC Multipurpose Gymnasium.

Grantees from TES received their financial assistance for the ๐Ÿญ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—”๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ฐ ๐—ฌ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฐโ€“๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฑ, amounting to โ‚ฑ10,000, while grantees from TDP received โ‚ฑ7,500 for the same semester. Meanwhile, ACEF-GIAHEP grantees received their โ‚ฑ27,000 allowance for ๐—”๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ฐ ๐—ฌ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿญโ€“๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎ. This continued release of support underscores the Collegeโ€™s steadfast commitment to ensuring that every scholar receives the aid they deserve.

The program was graced by Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, College President, who delivered an inspiring message highlighting the steady growth of SSCโ€™s scholarship grantees through the years. Also present were Ms. Sharifa D. Anjirani, Scholarship Director; Ms. Alwina Dela Cruz, College Cashier; and the dedicated staff of the Scholarship Office and Cashierโ€™s Office.

Among the 910 grantees, 884 responded to the Google Form provided during the orientation. Of those who responded, ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿญ.๐Ÿฎ% are first-generation college students, ๐Ÿฒ.๐Ÿต% are persons with disabilities (PWDs), ๐Ÿด.๐Ÿณ% are single parents, ๐Ÿฒ.๐Ÿฏ% are orphans, ๐Ÿฌ.๐Ÿฎ% are rebel returnees, and ๐Ÿฌ.๐Ÿฑ% are children of rebel returnees. This is a powerful testament to Sulu State Collegeโ€™s commitment to inclusive, equitable, and compassionate access to higher education.

This milestone was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Office of the Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), Student Assistance Program, and the Central Student Government. This activity reaffirms the Collegeโ€™s unwavering dedication to fostering an inclusive learning environment where every scholar, regardless of background or circumstance, is given the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
