Sulu State College, through its College President Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, formally accepted a generous three-hectare land donation from Hadji Nijar Hassan during the Ceremonial Signing of the Deed of Donation and Deed of Acceptance, held at the Office of the President, Sulu State College.

The donated parcel of land, located in Barangay Mahala, Talipao, Sulu, will serve as a vital foundation for the College’s future educational initiatives, fully aligned with its core mandates on instruction, research, extension, and production.

Present during the ceremony were Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, College President; Hadji Nijar Hassan, donor; Mr. Abdul Aziz S. Hassan; and other college officials including Prof. Nelson U. Julhamid, Vice President; Mr. Kaisar Sakiran, Chief Administrative Officer; Mr. Antonio Pescadera former Planning Director; and Engr. Abdulrani Sahirani, College Engineer.

This remarkable act of generosity embodies the spirit of community partnership and shared commitment to advancing quality education and sustainable development in Sulu.
