Engr. Firash Zhed Ututalum and Ms. Surfina Caluang represented Sulu State College at the VINTA Onboarding Session held on September 22, 2025, at the Grand Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City.

During the event, SSC was recognized for its outstanding achievements, and Engr. Firash Zhed Ututalum, the Team Leader of the committee, delivered a presentation on the institutional journey of Sulu State College, highlighting our milestones in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI).

This initiative by CHED Regional Office IX, titled VINTA (Vitalizing Initiatives for Nation’s Transnationalization and Accessibility), aims to promote global collaboration and elevate the competitiveness of HEIs in Region IX.
