The Department of Science and Technology–Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI), led by Director Dr. Jayeel S. Cornelio, successfully conducted its Roadshow and Information Drive on September 13, 2025, hosted by Sulu State College under the leadership of Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE and facilitated by the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), headed by Engr. Firash Zhed S. Ututalum, Dean of Student Affairs.

The program featured the Introduction of DOST-SEI by Dr. Cornelio and an Information Session on DOST Scholarship Opportunities delivered by:

Ms. Sheryll Lee Sales, Science Research Specialist II

Mr. Mark John Paul R. Capistrano, Senior Science Research Specialist

An open forum provided faculty and students of SSC the chance to raise questions and gain insights about scholarship grants and opportunities.

The event concluded with a closing message from Ms. Narcisa Mohammadhashim, Chief of Staff from the Office of the President, who expressed appreciation to DOST-SEI for choosing Sulu State College as a venue to bring this initiative closer to the youth.
