
Sulu State University, represented by Creative Works Focal Person Asst. Prof. Adawiya Jamasali on behalf of President Dr. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the “Oceans of Connectivity Literary Arts Conference”, a project under the National Commission for Culture and the Arts – National Committee on Literary Arts (NCCA–NCLA).
SSC entered into partnership with Notre Dame of Jolo College, represented by Fr. Ross B. Kapunan, OMI, and the Barangay Government of Bus-Bus, led by PB Almaida Mai Abdulhamid Undug, in a ceremony held at the SB Hji Soud B. Tan Conference Hall, Municipality of Jolo.
The event was witnessed by local leaders, including Jolo Vice Mayor Khumaidy A. Tan, Municipal Administrator Ezzeddin Soud Tan, and members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Jolo.
This collaboration aims to promote literary arts, cultural development, and community engagement in Sulu, further strengthening SSC’s commitment to culture and education through the support of the NCCA–NCLA.
