
Sulu State College held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new Student Center, a key project aimed at improving student welfare and learning spaces. Construction began in April 2025 and will take 300 days, with a budget of ₱29.4 million. The initiative was spearheaded by Hon. MP Nabil A. Tan and is implemented through MBHTE under Minister Mohagher M. Iqbal, represented by Project Engineer Idris M. Sakkam. The building will be constructed by USF Construction led by Engr. Nadzrimar A. Usman. College officials, including Vice President Prof. Nelson U. Julhamid and Dean Engr. Firash Zhed S. Ututalum, expressed gratitude and support. The project reflects the college’s commitment to providing inclusive and quality facilities for students.
