
The Sulu State College School of Nursing, in collaboration with the Notre Dame of Jolo College Nursing Department, successfully conducted the 3rd Inter-Nursing Schools’ Research Forum in Sulu on May 5, 2025, at the SSC Center for Culture and Arts.
With the theme “Nursing Research for a Healthier Sulu: Bridging Gaps, Building Futures,” the forum gathered participants from various state universities and colleges in Sulu. These included Mindanao State University-Sulu, Southwestern Mindanao Islamic Institute, Sulu College of Technology, Notre Dame of Jolo College, and Sulu State College.
The event was spearheaded by Research Director Assoc. Prof. Frissida Daud, Ph.D. Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, delivered the welcome address. The highlight of the forum was the presentation of student research papers.
Fr. Eduardo delivered an inspirational message during the afternoon session. An open forum followed each set of presentations, with the morning session paneled by Prof. Fatima I. Abubakar, MAN, Ph.D., former dean of HSD-NDJC, and the afternoon session by Prof. Nelson U. Julhamid, Ph.D., Vice President.
