On April 16, 2025, Sulu State College Senior High School proudly held its Recognition Day for Academic Year 2024–2025 at the SSC Center for Culture and Arts, Capitol Site, Patikul, Sulu.

The event honored the academic excellence and leadership of outstanding students, with awards presented to top achievers and members of various student organizations. It was graced by the presence of College President Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, who delivered an inspiring message encouraging students to soar higher. Also in attendance was Vice President Prof. Nelson U. Julhamid, Ph.D., whose presence highlighted the administration’s support for the SHS community.

Students were recognized for both academic excellence and active involvement in clubs such as the Supreme Student Government, Junior Stalwarts Performing Arts, Gagandilan Sports Club, and Panghimatih Publication Club, reflecting SSC’s holistic approach to student development.

The ceremony, led by SHS Coordinator Asst. Prof. Safrazhad S. Akarab, J.D., and concluded by Mr. Junior Basar P. Baklayan, MA-Math, marked a meaningful celebration of dedication and perseverance.
