
DISBURSEMENT OF ALLOWANCE FOR THE NEW GRANTEES OF TERTIARY EDUCATION SUBSIDY (TES) BATCH 13.0 AND 13.1-LISTAHANAN AND TULONG DUNONG PROGRAM (TDP) BATCH 3.1 AND 4.1 FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-2024.
The orientation for the new Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) grantees at Sulu State College was successfully conducted, marking the introduction of updated guidelines and the distribution of allowances for the Academic Year 2023-2024. The event accommodated 375 TDP and 493 TES grantees, alongside parents of TES beneficiaries.
Key academic and administrative figures, including Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, College President, and Engr. Firash Zhed S. Ututalum, M.Sc, Dean of Student Affairs and Services, attended the event. Also present were Ms. Melizah A. Jalmaani-Lerios, UniFAST BARMM-A Lead Regional Coordinator, Mr. Bryan Dominic G. Halasan and Ms. Wilmarie S. Francisco, both PSS V, Ms. Sharifa D. Anjirani, Director for Scholarship, and Mr. Hitler Allama, Digital Transformation Office Director. Staff from the Office of Student Affairs and Services and the Cashier’s Office contributed to the smooth coordination of the orientation and disbursement process.
Ms. Melizah A. Jalmaani-Lerios led the orientation, providing updates on guidelines, qualification criteria, disbursement schedules, and grantee responsibilities. The active participation of TES grantees’ parents fostered transparency and accountability, allowing for open discussions on guideline specifics and financial management.
During the event, 868 grantees received their allowances, aimed at alleviating educational expenses and promoting academic success. This initiative reflects Sulu State College’s dedication to supporting students through essential financial aid programs, ensuring their academic journey is supported while encouraging community engagement.
