
With the theme “Flying in Unison: Spreading Wings through Challenges and Triumphs,” the SSC School of Nursing (SON) and the Nursing Student Association (NSA) officially marked their 5th Nurses’ Week celebration at the SSC Gymnasium.
Kicking off the event, Dean Dr. Alijandrina T. Jalilul delivered the opening remarks, followed by an inspiring message from College President Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, who reminded everyone to continue spreading their wings despite challenges. The celebration was also graced by other key officials, including VP Prof. Nelson U. Julhamid, Dr. Ayesha Rema Tan, Mr. Kaisar Sakiran, Ms. Krysha Macapendeg, and Ms. Narcisa Mohammadhashim, along with faculty, staff, and Falcon students.
One of the highlights of the event was the Dancercise competition, where four Falcon teams showcased their energy and teamwork. Emerging as the champion was the Infernal Falcon, followed by Elysian Falcon, Sovereign Falcon, and Whirlwind Falcon. The competition was judged by a distinguished panel led by Ms. Lyn D’Amore Moreno, Mr. Amilhamja Attan, and Mr. Mudzamin Adjari.
Congratulations to the SSC School of Nursing and the Nursing Student Association for another successful Nurses’ Week celebration! This initiative aligns with UNSDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being and UNSDG 4: Quality Education, as well as SSC’s Strategic Initiative 3: Strengthening Holistic Student Development.
