
Sulu State College’s College of Teacher Education launched its Job Preparation Seminar on January 21, 2025, at the college auditorium. The event was graced by the Vice President of Sulu State College, who delivered a keynote message in place of College President Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE.
The program featured engaging talks by Mr. Al-fauzi S. Ibno, RCrim, on the institution’s Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMGO); Ms. Fhadzra Aisha P. Sabdani, RPm, on test-taking skills; and Engr. Firash Zhed S. Ututalum, M.Sc, on professionalism in the workplace. In the afternoon, Mr. Khaizar H. Barrie discussed business correspondence, while Mr. Jalsar Jalaide shared an Islamic perspective on life after graduation.
A significant highlight was the launch of the SEEmeCV Job Portal given by Mr. Alfadar Galib, SSC Web Admin, a digital platform connecting graduating students with potential employers and simplifying job application processes.
Special recognition was given to Mr. Al-aziz Timpahan, the Guidance Coordinator of the College of Teacher Education, for his dedication and efforts in organizing the program. Participants expressed gratitude for the practical advice and innovative tools shared during the seminar.
The Job Preparation Seminar continues to provide valuable insights and opportunities, empowering the graduating batch of 2025 to navigate their careers with confidence and preparedness.
