
Sulu State College has achieved another milestone as the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) officially granted the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for its BS in Information System and BS in Information Technology programs. This certification recognizes the college’s compliance with CHED’s prescribed minimum requirements for these academic offerings.
The awarding ceremony was conducted by the Regional Quality Assurance Team (RQAT) led by Dr. Joe-An G. Cuaresma, Dr. Clarissa C. Alvarez, and Dr. Vincent A. Regalado from CHED Region IX. The event took place on January 17-18, 2024, at the Board Room of the SSC Administration Building in Jolo, Sulu.
This accomplishment aligns with the institution’s commitment to United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UNSDG) 4: Quality Education, promoting inclusive and equitable learning opportunities for all. It also supports Strategic Goal 1: Academic Excellence and Quality, by ensuring that SSC’s academic programs meet the highest standards of quality and relevance.
