
On January 17-18, 2025, the evaluation and inspection for the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for the programs AB History, BS Criminology, and BS Agriculture of Sulu State College took place. The activity was conducted by the Regional Quality Assurance Team led by Dr. Joe-An G. Cuaresma, Dr. Clarissa C. Alvarez, and Dr. Vincent A. Regalado from CHED Region IX. The event was held at the Board Room, SSC Administration Building, Jolo, Sulu, Philippines.
The program began with an opening prayer, the singing of the National Anthem and the Sulu State College Hymn, followed by an inspirational and welcome message from the College President, Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE. The evaluation commenced with the introduction of faculty members from each program by their respective department heads. During the closing program, the evaluators presented their findings and observations. The event concluded with a message from President Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE and the awarding of a plaque of recognition to the Regional Quality Assurance Team for their dedication and contributions to the College.
This activity aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that academic programs meet national standards and provide quality education to students. It reflects the Vision of Sulu State College as a center of excellence in BARMM, producing globally competitive graduates.
