
The construction of the Tubular Steel Waiting Chair Project marks a significant milestone for the Central Student Government (CSG) of Sulu State College as their proposed project for the academic year 2024-2025 comes to fruition. On January 15, 2025, the project was officially commenced in the presence of Engr. Abdul-Rani M. Sahirani, the project’s engineer, and Engr. Firash Ututalum, Dean of the Office of Student Affairs and Services.
This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, as it contributes to enhancing campus infrastructure to improve the comfort and well-being of students and staff. It also supports Sulu State College’s Vision and Mission by fostering innovation and promoting student-centered development. Furthermore, the project embodies the College’s Core Values of Solidarity, Professionalism, Integrity, Commitment, and Excellence (SPICE) and aligns with Strategic Initiative 4, which focuses on creating co-curricular and extra-curricular programs for the holistic development of students.
