The SSC Infirmary, in collaboration with the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Jolo, successfully conducted the Anti-Pneumonia Vaccination Program on January 15, 2025, at the SSC Covered Court, benefiting both students and employees. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the SSC Infirmary Office and RHU-Jolo for their dedication to this health initiative.
This vaccination drive aligns with SDG 3, Good Health and Well-being, aiming to reduce mortality from preventable diseases and promote overall well-being. It also reflects the SSC Core Values of Solidarity and Excellence, emphasizing the importance of working together for the common good and delivering high-quality service for the community.
The program supports Strategic Initiative 4: Student Affairs – Social Development, contributing to the emotional and social well-being of students and employees. It also aligns with Strategic Initiative 2: Institutionalize Research, Linkages for Innovation and Inclusion by fostering collaborative health initiatives that benefit the local community.
Additionally, the partnership with RHU-Jolo highlights Strategic Initiative 8: Resource Generation and Mobilization, demonstrating SSC’s ability to engage external partners for the development of health and well-being programs.
