Sulu State College joined the celebration in commemorating the 128th Araw ng Kabayanihan ni Dr. Jose Rizal with the theme “Rizal sa Bagong Pilipinas: Buhay at Aral, Aming Nilalandas” held earlier today at Plaza Rizal Park, Jolo, Sulu.

Representing Sulu State College were Vice President Prof. Nelson U. Julhamid, along with Ms. Raina Sappayani, Ms. Sherryl Kathleen Muddasil, and Ms. Narcisa Mohammadhashim, accompanied by security personnel led by Mr. Alfadzri Adjabi.

The ceremony’s highlight was the offering of flowers, participated in by various local government agencies, representatives from private organizations, academic institutions, and barangays, symbolizing unity in honoring the life and legacy of the national hero.

This annual Rizal Day celebration serves as a meaningful reminder of Dr. Jose Rizal’s enduring contributions to the nation, inspiring Filipinos to continue embodying his values and principles for a better future.
