Sulu State College Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for the ICT Building (Phase 1)
On December 16, 2024, Sulu State College, in partnership with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 9, officially commenced the construction of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Building (Phase 1) with a groundbreaking ceremony.
In attendance were Vice President Prof. Nelson U. Julhamid, college officials, personnel from the Commission on Audit (COA), and representatives from the contractor, Al-Saqik Construction, owned by Ben Azizkhan S. Hamid.
The project is funded under the General Appropriations Act (GAA) 2024, with an approved budget of ₱20,000,000.00, in accordance with DPWH-CHED Joint Memorandum Circular No. 01, Series of 2024.
This initiative marks a significant milestone in enhancing the technological infrastructure of Sulu State College, fostering growth and innovation for its academic community.
Sulu State College extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for their unwavering support in the Construction of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Building (Phase 1).
