Sulu State College, under the leadership of Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, participated in the Senate Committee on Finance Subcommittee D hearing for the Fiscal Year 2025 State Universities and Colleges (SUC) budget. The session took place today, October 1, 2024, at the Sen. Recto-Laurel Room, Senate of the Philippines, Pasay City.

The hearing, presided over by Sen. Pia Cayetano, focused on the proposed FY 2025 budget for the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and SUCs across the country.

In attendance also were the SUC presidents from different higher institution in the Philippines.

Sulu State College remains committed to contributing to the development of quality higher education in the Philippines through active participation in such crucial discussions.
